The General Clinical Research Center

Located in the Elmore Research Wing of Noll Lab, the GCRC provides clinical services, nutrition services and biostatistical consultation among other resources as part of an NIH funded network of facilities.

gcrcThe GCRC in University Park is located at 112 Elmore Research Wing/Noll Lab.  It provides the research infrastructure for investigators who conduct research with human subjects. Investigations carried out can include studies of normal and abnormal human function and studies of cause, prevention, progression, and cure of diseases.  Together with its partner GCRC at the Hershey Medical Center, the GCRC-UP is part of a national network of similar centers funded by the National Institute of Health through the National Center for Research Resources.

  • Clinical Services (project consultation, physical exams, stress tests, medication administration, all nursing procedures including blood drawing)
  • Nutrition Services (food preparation, counseling, diet analysis.)

  • Biostatistics Services
  • Immunomodulation Core Laboratory Services (primarily cytokine and hormone assays)
