Research Interests
I am a graduate student in the Department of Human Development and Family Studies, working with Dr. Almeida. I am broadly interested in midlife development and health, with a particular focus in the developmental features of work-family balance and their effects on health and well-being. My Master’s thesis explored the moderating influences of wake-up time and within-person variability in sleep on the relationship between sleep duration and physical health. My current research goal is to investigate how longitudinal changes in negative work-to-family spillover, an indicator of work-family conflict, predict physical health, including immune and endocrine functioning.
