“Does Participation in Lifestyle Activities

Delay Age-Related Cognitive Decline?”

Participation in lifestyle activities may serve to lessen age-related deficits in cognitive performance, consistent with the "use it or lose it" adage of aging.  Using data from the Victoria Longitudinal Study, Dr. Small examines this relationship using cognitive and lifestyle measures from adults who were initially 55-85 years of age followed up to 12 years.
